Nordicity partners welcome the appointment of Akhaji Zakiya as Senior Consultant to the strategy consulting firm’s Toronto office

TORONTO — October 22, 2007 — Nordicity Senior Partner, Peter Lyman is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Akhaji Zakiya as Senior Consultant to the firm’s Toronto office.

Ms. Zakiya previously held the position of Business Analyst with CTVglobemedia and has worked in content distribution and affiliate sales for CHUM Television. Prior to broadcasting, Akhaji worked as an Accountant at the Toronto International Film Festival and as a Project Manager/Editor in the post-production industry. She is recognized for her knowledge of corporate financial management issues as well as business strategy and policy development in media industries. Ms. Zakiya’s academic background includes a M.B.A. in Finance and Strategic Management from Schulich School of Business. Analytical and presentation skills are fortes she brings to the consulting practice.
