Nordicity Developing five-year operational business plan for Ottawa Arts Court Foundation
Ottawa – July 11, 2008 – The Ottawa Arts Court Foundation (OACF) has selected Nordicity Group Ltd. to develop and prepare a detailed five-year operational business plan for the funding, management and governance of the OACF as it moves towards its future vision in a new arts facility development in downtown Ottawa.
Led by Nordicity Principal Stuart Jack, the project team is currently analyzing changes required to increase OACF operational efficiencies and intensify usage of the 130-seat theatre and other rental spaces managed by the OACF within the Arts Court building as appropriate steps towards the development of a new facility. The analysis includes interviews with stakeholders, secondary research on best practices in similar facilities in other metropolitan areas, and identification of performance measures, focusing on the key performing arts business functions of marketing and promotion, partnerships, common ticketing, concessions, programming, fundraising and staffing.
The final report will include five-year financials for the operations of the OACF as well as management and governance recommendations relevant to the strategic organizational growth of the OACF.
The business plan will be completed in August 2008.
