NORDICITY AND NEW MEDIA MANITOBA LAUNCH THE NEW MEDIA CENSUS

WINNIPEG – January 2012 – Nordicity and New Media Manitoba (NMM) have launched The New Media Census: a three-phase project to assess and advance Manitoba's flourishing new media industry.

The Census will be the first time that anyone has succeeded in determining the impact new media has on the province of Manitoba. The responses provided in this census will directly answer the question of "why does work in new media matter," and "why should anyone care about new media as an industry?" and will support NMM's on-going efforts to stimulate growth in Manitoba's new media industry.
